Red Pasta Dough

INGREDIENTS LIST

For The Dough

  • 150 grams “00” flour

  • 125 grams Egg Yolks

  • 10 grams beetroot powder

METHOD

Start by spreading the flour onto a clean workspace. Using your fingers, create a well in the center of the flour and add in the eggs and beetroot powder. Stir to combine using a fork and mix well. Using the hand spatula, evenly distribute the egg yolk mixture into the flour and then slowly start to combine. Knead the dough for about 8-10 minutes or alternatively put into a mixer with a dough hook attachment. Knead until the moisture is fully combined throughout the flour, wrap in plastic wrap and let rest for 20-30 minutes.
